Tewodros (Teddy) Abebe is the founder and owner of EthioEdit LLC.
Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Teddy completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States. He dedicated much of his professional career to higher education, where he was recognized for distinguished work.
Teddy’s lifelong passion for language and literature, combined with the growing demand for professional English-Amharic and Amharic-English services, led to the creation of EthioEdit.
A Life Rooted in Language
Teddy is a published poet whose translated work has appeared in journals and books. More than two dozen of his letters have also been published in the print edition of The Washington Post, along with writings in other respected publications.
